Trailer – Parasakthi marks a bold new chapter for Sivakarthikeyan
The Parasakthi movie trailer stars Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa in key roles. Sivakarthikeyan and Atharvaa played brothers in the movie, whereas Ravi Mohan is the main villain. The movie’s story was showcased in 1964, when students marched movement against the imposition of Hindi in Tamil Nadu. When the Central Government declared Hindi to be the official language, the movie’s story took a serious turn. A lot of people from Tamil Nadu protested against the law, including Atharvaa, who plays the student role in the film.
Sivakarthikeyan works in Indian Railways in the film, and there was a dialogue in the movie that “when a Tamil person goes to Delhi, they speak Hindi, but when a Hindi-speaking person comes to Madurai, they should speak Tamil.” He worries about his brother’s safety, who is protesting with students against the imposition of Hindi. In the movie, he says that he does not have an issue with Hindi-speaking people, but against the people who are forcing Hindi on others. Also, in the movie, Sreeleela played the love interest of Sivakarthikeyan.
Ravi Mohan played the powerful villain character in this movie against Sivakarthikeyan. We can see at the start of the trailer that both of them were fighting on the train. This is the first film that they shared the screen in the movie.
Overall, Parasakthi, which is a multistarrer film that promises a powerful political drama film by Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa. The story revolves around the imposition of Hindi in Tamil Nadu, and students protest against it along with Sivakarthikeyan. The issue is not with Hindi language or Hindi-speaking people. They want to protect the mother tongue of their state, that’s the main concept of the story. The movie is set to release on January 10th, coinciding with the Pongal festival, and Vijay Thalapathy’s film Jana Nayagan is scheduled for release a day earlier. Both movies include a political drama, and enjoy watching both movies.
