Let me be straight with you.
Bestructure has affiliate links in some of its articles. When you click one of those links and buy something, we earn a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay stays exactly the same, Amazon or Flipkart does not charge you a single rupee extra because you came through our link. The commission comes entirely from the retailer’s side.
That is the short version.
If you want to understand exactly how this works, what it means for our content, and what it absolutely does not mean, keep reading. This page explains everything without hiding behind legal language.
Why Bestructure Has Affiliate Links
Running an independent tech website costs real money. Testing devices, maintaining the website, researching products, and dedicating hours to writing genuinely useful content, none of that is free.
Bestructure does not have a parent company funding us. We do not have investors writing cheques every quarter. We are an independent publication run by one person, M. Akshay, who writes every article, tests every product claim, and answers every comment personally.
Affiliate commissions from Amazon India and Flipkart help keep this website running and keep all the content completely free for every reader. No paywalls. No subscription fees. No premium tiers. Everything on Bestructure is free because the affiliate model makes that possible.
That is the honest reason affiliate links exist here. Not greed. Not laziness. A practical need to fund independent journalism without charging readers for it.
How It Actually Works
Here is the exact sequence of events when you click an affiliate link on Bestructure:
- You read an article, say, a buying guide for smartphones under ₹20,000
- You click a product link, for example, a link to the Motorola g57 Power 5G on Flipkart
- That link contains a small tracking code that tells Flipkart the visit came from Bestructure
- If you buy that product, or sometimes any product, within a set window after clicking our link, Flipkart pays us a commission
- You are charged exactly the same price as any other customer. Nothing extra. Nothing hidden.
The commission varies depending on which retailer and which product category. It is typically a small percentage of the sale value. It is never enough to make us recommend a bad product, and we would never do that anyway.
Where Our Affiliate Links Come From
We currently earn commissions through two programs:
Amazon India (amazon.in) We are enrolled in the Amazon Associates India program. Articles that recommend products available on Amazon India may contain affiliate links to those product pages.
Flipkart (flipkart.com) We are enrolled in the Flipkart Affiliate Program. Articles that recommend products available on Flipkart may contain affiliate links to those product pages.
If we join additional affiliate programs in the future, we will add them to this list. This page is updated every time our affiliate partnerships change.
The One Thing That Never Changes
Here is what matters most, and what we want you to hold us to.
Our affiliate relationships have never changed a recommendation we made. They never will.
When we say the realme P4 5G is the best value phone under ₹20,000, it is because we genuinely believe that, not because realme pays us more per sale than Samsung. When we point out that the OPPO K14 5G has a weaker processor than its competitors, we say it clearly even if that costs us a sale. When a product is not worth buying, we tell you, regardless of what it would earn us if you bought it anyway.
A website that recommends bad products to earn commissions loses its readers. We built Bestructure on the back of honest opinions, and we are not about to trade that for a few hundred rupees in affiliate income.
You can test this. Go back through any article on Bestructure and look for genuine negatives mentioned about every product. You will find them, because we put them there deliberately. A review without honest criticism is not a review. It is an advertisement.
How to Spot Affiliate Links on Bestructure
We do not try to hide affiliate links. Here is how you can identify them:
- Every article containing affiliate links has a short disclosure notice at the top, usually a single sentence mentioning that the article contains affiliate links
- Product purchase links are usually labelled clearly, “Check Price on Amazon,” “Buy on Flipkart,” or similar
- This Affiliate Disclosure page is linked in the footer of every page on the website
If you are ever unsure whether a specific link is an affiliate link, email us at info@bestructure.com and we will tell you immediately.
Sponsored Content – A Completely Different Thing
Affiliate links and sponsored content are not the same thing, and the difference matters.
An affiliate link is something we add to an article we already wrote independently. The affiliate relationship does not change what the article says or which product it recommends. We wrote the article honestly and then added a link to where you can buy the product.
Sponsored content is when a brand pays for coverage, paying us to write about their product, influence what we say about it, or present promotional material as independent editorial.
Bestructure does not publish sponsored content that is disguised as an independent review. If we ever produce content in paid partnership with a brand, it will be clearly labelled as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” at the very top of the article, in clear, readable text, so you know exactly what you are reading before you read a single word of it.
Prices Change – Here Is What That Means for You
Every price mentioned on Bestructure reflects the price at the time the article was written or last updated. E-commerce prices on Amazon India and Flipkart change constantly, sales, out-of-stock situations, new variants launching, old variants being discontinued.
Always verify the current price directly on Amazon India or Flipkart before making a purchase. We do our best to keep articles updated, but we cannot guarantee that every price on every page reflects today’s live price.
Questions, Concerns, or Feedback
If anything on this page is unclear, if you have questions about a specific affiliate link in one of our articles, or if you ever feel that our affiliate relationships have influenced content in a way that is not fair to you as a reader, we want to hear about it.
Seriously. If you catch us being biased toward a product because of money, call it out. That kind of accountability keeps us honest.

A Final Word
Most websites bury their affiliate disclosure in a footer page nobody reads, written in language designed to satisfy legal requirements rather than actually inform readers.
This page exists because we think you deserve to know exactly how Bestructure makes money and exactly how seriously we take the line between earning commissions and compromising our honesty. We have tried to write it in plain language because plain language is what honest people use.
Thank you for reading it. And thank you for trusting Bestructure with your tech decisions.
