The OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone was launched in India on 8 July 2025. It features processor, battery, and camera updates.
The base model, the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage variant, costs around 32K, and the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage variant costs around 35K.
It is also available with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, but it is not currently available.
Most OnePlus smartphones have an AMOLED display, but this Nord 5 features a 6.85" 1.5K OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate.
The Nord 5 runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is best for daily usage, multitasking, and gaming.
Compared to Nord 4, this OnePlus Nord 5 has the biggest battery, 6800 mAh, with 80W fast charging support. It takes 1 hour to charge fully.
Now, in the camera section, the back portion comes with the dual camera option, one with a 50 MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with the AutoFocus feature present and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.
The front selfie camera has 50 MP, which gives clear pictures. Both the front and back cameras support 4K video up to 60 fps.
This model uses a plastic body, and the Nord 5 weighs 211 grams. This smartphone will be available on the market starting on 9th July.
